Two hoop tricks! Picking up from where we left off with Dabbling in Doubles Level 1, we’ll look at more moves with 2 hoops.
These moves will be predominantly off body based and will challenge your coordination and timing!

How an earth do I do two hoops? I can barely spin one!
Hold up! You can do ANYTHING you set your mind to! This course is mostly focussed on off body hooping, so if you just can’t nail that waist wiggle then with not try more hand hooping. If you’re not sure or want to know more please do email Lyndsay.
I can't remember / haven't completed Level 1. Does this matter?
We will be building on moves in Level 1. Whilst it’s not compulsory to have done Level 1, it will help you with some of the new content we’ll cover. If you can comfortably spin two hoops (one one each hand at the same time) and can keep these fairly consistent and level, then you should be ok. Please email Lyndsay if you are not sure.
What should I wear?
Something comfortable, preferably cotton clothing. Close fitting clothes are generally easier to hoop in as baggy clothes may catch or get in the way. Slippery fabrics should be avoided as this will make learning moves a lot harder. Bare skin is generally easier to hoop with (shoulders and arms in particular). Footwear – bare feet, or trainers. Socks maybe slippery.
You may need to bring a wrist support if you require it for other activities.
What should I bring?
An open mind, a positive attitude and a bottle of water. Hoops will be provided but bring two light weight ones of your own if you have them.
Bring your hand, arm and shoulder muscles too. We give them a good workout in this class!

If you are pregnant or have an existing shoulder, wrist or back problem this class may not be suitable for you. We ask that any medical conditions be declared before attending a class and in some cases a Doctors note may be requested. Please drop us an email to discuss this further.
Do you do drop in sessions? Why must I book onto a course?
Hula hooping is great fun and takes plenty of practice when learning new moves. Every week we on build the previous week’s material and skills. We will learn a lot on this course and whilst we will do a recap each week, we want to progress on to new material rather than having to return to the very basics every lesson.
We also have to limit numbers on each course for health and safety purposes. Hooping also takes up lots of space and we don’t want the hall to be over crowded otherwise you can’t learn everything with enough practice space!

There is lots of 2 hours free on-street parking locally or St Peter’s Multi storey is a 5 – 10 min walk away. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk next to the Parish Church and Leamington Train station is 5 minutes walk away!
