WIGGLY FEATURES ON THIS HULA HOOP INCLUDE:
– Obvious shape distortion which makes sizing hard to define
– Uses up lots of left over tape ends
– Not quite level
This exercise hula hoop is made up of left over decorative tapes including rainbow, galaxy, blue leopard print and camo skulls (not evenly spaced). It is part of our ‘Wiggly Hoops’ range. These hula hoops are made with the same care and attention as our bespoke orders, but have a few quirky features to them.
These hula hoops are as good as new, save for some slight imperfections which should not affect your use of the hula hoop or its performance. Many of these hula hoops have been in storage for 12 months due to the pandemic and may be slightly wiggly in shape. By purchasing one of our Wiggly Hoops, you’re helping us to reduce our waste by making use of wonky tubing or using up tape that would otherwise have gone to landfill.
Our Wiggly Hula Hoops are sold with full transparency about possible quirks and therefore cannot be returned or refunded.
Our Exercise Hula Hoops use a 25mm diameter tubing. This thicker, heavier tubing helps you to get your sweat on!
These hoops are also perfect for beginners as they will rotate more slowly, giving you more time to move your hips.
They are also great for people arthritis in their hands as the thicker tubing is easier to hold and grip.
These hoops come in 25mm tubing.
(Approximate weight: 600g on a 38″ diameter hoop).

Bigger is better! A bigger hoop will rotate slowly giving you more time to wiggle!
To get a guide on the size you need for your first hoop, measure in inches from the floor to two inches above your belly button.
Alternatively start with a hoop that’s between 40″ – 45″ diameter depending on your height and weight.

WHICH SIZE MAKES YOU SWEAT MORE?:
We get asked this a lot and it works out about the same! A smaller hoop will mean you have to wiggle faster – hopefully making you sweat! And a larger hoop will be heavy and also means you have to exaggerate your movements more – also hopefully making you sweat!

Looking after your new hula hoop can help prolong its life.
Here are our top tips for taking good care of your hoop.
*** You should always warm up carefully before using your hula hoop and cool down properly afterwards ***
Use it outside
It’s best to use your hula hoop outside where you have plenty of space, away from breakable objects.
Colourful tapes can leave marks
The colourful tape is beautiful but acts like crayon on the walls! Be careful if hula hooping inside. These marks can usually be removed with some Cif or other cleaning products.
Grass rather than concrete
Hula hoop on a grassy surface to help preserve your tapes. Concrete, tarmac and brick work will scuff and scratch the tape quickly.
There is a hand made join in your hula hoop. It can take lots of wear and tear but lots of squashing, pushing or pulling the hoop into an oval shape will put it under unnecessary stress.
Muddy hula hoop? Use a damp cloth and elbow grease to remove mud and dirt.
Don’t leave your hula hoop out side in the rain. The hula hoop is water proof but the glue on the tapes is not. If left out in the damp, the tapes may peel or crack.
Storing your hula hoop
Store your hula hoop somewhere dry. Hang it up, lay it flat or stand it up against a wall. Try not to leave it leaning against anything as over time, this can warp the shape of the hoop.
Do not leave it against a radiator or other heat source. The tubing is made from plastic and will melt. Try not to leave your hula hoops in the car, especially on a hot day. This can warm up the tubing and misshapen your plastic circle.
If for any reason your hula hoop does become misshapen, you can reshape it by leaving it out in the sun on a flat surface to heat up and level out.
